Stone carving is a universal art form found across cultures and ages. The Arts Express workshops and evening classes give participants a founding in the techniques and tools of stone carving and allow for the completion of individual sculptures. They are suitable for all levels and groups are small enough to allow for one-to-one tuition to realise each participants' personal project.

The Arts Express studio is fully equipped for stone carving and tutors are extensively trained and are professional stone carvers in their own right. Arts Express provides Portland and Bath limestone for participants and other stone can be sourced on request.

Classes are run on Wednesday evening over ten sessions. One day Saturday workshops are also available. They are held in the Arts Express studio at 17 Illiffe Yard, Crampton St, SE17, located five minutes walk from Kennington tube station.
